“… against the wind, I’m still running against the wind. I’m older now but still running against the wind. Well, I’m older now and still running against the wind.” Bob Seger

Freedom is knowing that when you’re right, YOU’RE RIGHT. Go for broke in all you do. Go against the wind if you have to. Find those of like mind if you can.

Oh dear *GOD*, the PC crowd and the lamestream media make me laugh. They are pathetic, to say the least. I was told today by someone I barely know I should try to be more “PC” and “fit in”. They don’t like my political posts and/or views. So as the last working day of the year comes to a close, I offer this:

I will *perhaps* if they will … but don’t hold your breath on that.

I wish you a prosperous new year full of freedom and without government intervention, without censorship, without the thought police, and without the politically correct BS crowd.

We’ve said this before, but the name-calling that the oh-so-liberal “progressives”¬†and “tolerant” crowd (or so they all like to tell themselves they are) levels at those of us that think differently from them¬†is nothing short of amazing.

There are a lot of beliefs people have that we don’t¬†share, but it doesn’t make us belittle and/or insist that they must believe as we do and follow the thought-police party line. ¬†People that do this¬†are far more bigoted and dangerous to freedoms than the people they attack.

Being truly “tolerant” means accepting everyone, even when you may disagree with them.¬† It means allowing someone their right to free speech whether they believe like you do or not.

Guess what, Liberals, Progressives, and¬†those self-proclaimed “Beautiful People” out there? ¬†That means, *YOU TOO*!!! ¬†Just because you choose to not believe what the Bible teaches or what Phil Robertson believes doesn’t mean it’s wrong.¬† It’s called “diversity”.¬† It’s called “difference in opinion”.¬† It’s called “individualism”.¬†¬†You know … what¬†all of you are¬†so hot and bothered about¬†attempting to enforce by¬†shoving your beliefs¬†down other people’s throats.¬† Diversity and TOLERANCE is something that you need to learn first before you can tell anyone else what to do.

By the way … as a side note … we find people like the Robertsons that are true to themselves by far and away more beautiful than the Limousine Liberals can ever dream of being.

Quite honestly, we are proud of Phil Robertson.¬† He, like us, doesn’t bend¬†and sway with¬†the political pendulum.¬† He has his beliefs and STICKS TO THEM rather than changing them just to please someone who doesn’t give a rat’s ass about him otherwise.¬† He stays true to himself, and we would be PROUD to be lucky enough to know him personally and call him a friend.

Just because he doesn’t believe the same way as another person, however, doesn’t mean he is leveling hate at¬†them.¬† The name-calling that he is enduring is by far more hateful than¬†what he said.¬†¬†He merely¬†disagrees with¬†certain life¬†choices and agrees with the Bible.¬† It doesn’t mean he hates the person.¬† That’s pretty clear to us, at least,¬†but I guess A&E¬†is too entrenched in Holly-Weird.¬†¬†A&E feels the¬†need to sway with the political mores of the time rather than be¬†true to¬†MANY beliefs. ¬†It’s sad.

So we will end with this.

We have both always believed that the whole world can think we are wrong, but if *we* know we are right, well then, WE ARE RIGHT!

Oh, yeah, and our “period” MEANS “period” unlike the idiot BO.

This to me has seemed like a very long week.

Roy’s work schedule was changed around and there was at least one day that I left the house at 5am and didn’t get home till 9pm, only to get up the next day at 4am to do it all over again.

I needed coffee to survive.

On Monday I was quite sick with a migraine headache … and on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, my body was arguing with an abdominal migraine (yes, there is such a thing, and, yes, they’re rare in adults, and, yes, I do get them).

I’m better today after dragging myself to work every day except for Monday when I spent the day in the dark and pretended I was a bat, since any light hurt my head.¬† I never used to know what my mother meant when she’d say “it’s hell getting old”.¬† Now I do.

I’ve learned the following trick however.

Today with it being FINALLY FRIDAY and feeling much better and having¬† a 3-day weekend with Monday off for Veterans’ Day (they deserve it more than any other group¬†I know¬†out there), I’m ready to let loose.¬† I get THREE WHOLE DAYS OF UNMITIGATED FREEDOM where they let me out of my cubicle jail on good behaviour.¬† So I’m dedicating the following George Jones’ song to all of my friends out there:

I've got a hundred dollars smokin' in my billfold.
I know I outta save it, but it's burnin' a hole
Right through my pocket and into my skin.
Come Monday mornin', I'll be broke again.
It's Finally Friday! I'm free again!
I got my motor runnin' for a wild weekend!
It's Finally Friday! I'm out of control!
Forget the workin’ blues and let the good times roll!
I got a little sugar baby down the road.
She's sittin on a radio, rockin' n roll.
We'll dance up a storm, and later in the night,
We'll be workin' on doin’ all the wrong things right.
It's Finally Friday! I'm free again!
I got my motor runnin' for a wild weekend!
It's Finally Friday! I'm out of control!
Forget the workin’ blues and let the good times roll!
Monday, I'll be hurtin’ with my head in a vice.
Tuesday, I'll be wonderin’ if I'll ever survive.
Wednesday and, uh, Thursday, I'll be slowly tunin' in.
Friday, I'll be revvin' up my motor again.
It's Finally Friday! I'm free again!
I got my motor runnin' for a wild weekend!
It's Finally Friday! I'm out of control!
Forget the workin’ blues and let the good times roll!

Brilliant left wing strategy:
Divide and conquer.
The folks who are getting the free stuff don’t like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.¬† Then¬†the folks who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop but the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!
Now … the people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.
So … the people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place.
We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff.
Now understand this:  All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason?  The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.
The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 236 years ago. The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff.  Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.
For all of our sakes … please … TAKE A STAND!!!
Borders:  Closed!
Language:  English only
Culture:  God, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights!
Drug Free:  Mandatory Drug Screening before Welfare!
***ABSOLUTELY*** no “freebies” to¬†Non-Citizens!

The once Great State of California, for whom I currently work, is truly on the brink of disaster.¬† It is overly taxed and overly regulated and not friendly to business or to entrepreneurs.¬† Is it any wonder so many people are now moving out of the once Golden State?¬† I am a 3rd generation California Girl … and I am truly ashamed of how it has turned into a welfare state.¬† It’s embarrassing¬†as a citizen of this state and as an employee of this state.¬† People¬†moved here for freedom and the chance of entrepreneurship.¬† It is being destroyed by regulation-happy liberals.¬† If this state is not to go to the same fate as the City of Detroit, people must stand up and do something rather than sit idly by.¬† My ancestors who gave so much to move here would be appalled by the “gimme gimme gimme” attitude of so many of the people living here now.¬† Oh, heck, Roy and I are appalled by the “gimme gimme gimme” mentality of today.

What ever happened to good old fashioned hard work and personal responsibility rather than depending on handouts?

Roy and I were never raised to think we were anything other than “American”.¬† Yes, my ancestors came from Scotland, Ireland, Holland, and Germany … but I’m not “Scottish American”.¬† I’m not “Irish American”.¬† I’m not “Dutch American”.¬† I’m not “German American”.¬† I’m not “White American”.¬† Those sort of “classifications” only set to further divide us.¬† We’re not racist either.¬† We have never owned slaves or put people down because of their color or race.¬† We look for who they are as people.

Roy and I are at a business meeting this weekend teaching self-sufficiency, entrepreneurship, and independence.¬† There is every type of person imaginable here.¬† We all have the goal of bettering ourselves and bettering our country and bettering our world … and we are *AMERICANS*.¬† Period.

Those classifying terms only work to further divide us rather than help us work toward a common goal of improving our lives and that of society around us.¬† We’re AMERICAN and we expect those that are lucky enough to consider themselves American and to be protected by the Constitution and our military to start *acting* like Americans and stop trying to divide us into factions.¬† It’s just demeaning to everyone and others … not to mention the person that is trying to divide us.

Maybe that’s too much common sense for the average man and sheeple of this world¬†though.

So many people think that historical figures don’t understand and are “old-fashioned”.¬† This just says it all … and is so true.¬† There’s an old adage about if we don’t look at our history and learn from it, we’ll be destined to repeat it.¬† Roy and I would really rather not live in a time period of the “equal sharing of misery”.¬† We’d rather live in a time period of prosperity for all through shared work and freedom and personal responsibility.

Freedom has never been free in any sense of the word.

Don’t take your freedom for granted.  We live in the best country in the world.  Freedom is not free.  A high price has been paid.

Be proud you live here and protect what you have with all you’ve got.

This is why so many of us can enjoy the lives we do. Roy and I understand this. We only wish BO, his spoiled wifey (Moochelle) and even more spoiled children as well as the current gang of thugs did. Otherwise … we shudder to think what this world would be like.

Thank you, Freedom Fighters. Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts.

Roy and I will carry the torch. Roy and I will not let it fizzle out. Roy and I will not let your lives to have been sacrificed in vain.
