It’s breast cancer awareness month.   

I went in for my routine mammogram Monday, particularly since I have abnormalities and scar tissue in my right breast after breast reduction surgery 9 years ago due to back issues.  So there I sat on a beautiful autumn Thursday after a call-back for a repeat of one area … then later the same an ultrasound on the same area within the same hour … and next a biopsy within two hours.  In my heart, I know it’s all fine, but it still is concerning and shows how important regular checks and screening truly are.

Get one!


You just never know.  It’s by far better to deal with what you know about than be in the dark.
